During uk class (about 2 weeks), I met a lot of people from different courses such as acca, accounting.
Yesterday we had role play, I found it's interesting. We were given a case study, our group gt 6 ppl including ceo, production manager, sales manager, accountant, spy and 1 more I forgot who is that.
Question: how do we fix this problem?
When mark and spencer the customer came and talk to the sales manager, asking where is the stock? Why haven't deliver to me yet? I'm going to change to other supplier. That time, I literally want to cry. (Thinking I'm going to be jobless soon, company is going to bankrupt).
Then my friend as a ceo said we were been trading business with each other for almost 10 years. (she said no no no.. I don't care)
Other alternative if we are unable to deliver to our customer:
1) find another supplier
2) call the customer and said give us for 3 hours and we are going to fix this problem.
3)hire ppl to check the stock again. (Need to consider inccur high expenditure)
But sir said these are the problems:
1) limited time (only 4 to hours left)
2) you can't find alternative supplier
Ceo:50 years old++
Want to bankrupt soon
Later on, sir said....
Your wife is calling you... said I want money, borrow a loan.
Accountant:low profit margin, cannot approve anything
Production manager (me): want simple and enjoy life.
Conclusion: if deliver/don't deliver to the customer is also okay, there are no right or wrong answer.
This is for reflective writing.
This is going to happen in the working world in future. So be prepare.
